Editorial and diagnostic policy
Every page should make its evidence level, safety boundary, and source trail visible.
Evidence labels
Officially verified: model terminology or owner-level procedure is supported by a linked manufacturer source. Diagnostic synthesis: the decision order is an original editorial interpretation of observable clues. Hands-on tested: this label may be added only after an editor physically tests the exact model and documents the test. Launch pages do not claim hands-on testing.
No manual rewrites
We paraphrase only the minimum manufacturer information needed to identify a state or safe procedure. The value of each page is the separating test, result interpretation, and stop boundary, not a reproduction of operating instructions.
Updates
Pages display a reviewed date. Editors should re-check official support links, model revisions, safety notices, and product terminology at least annually or when a manufacturer changes a procedure.
Media standard
Representative photographs are clearly captioned when they do not show the exact machine. Diagnostic graphics and videos are original illustrations. A page should replace representative media with properly licensed exact-model media when available.
Commercial separation
Advertising and affiliate relationships do not change the diagnostic order. A part should not be recommended until model, revision, and part number are verified.
